The Lamb & Flag Pub

The Lamb and Flag is a beautiful and old English pub located in the bustling Covent Garden. The name of the pub comes from the symbol of Christ as the victorious Lamb of God of the Book of Revelation, carrying a banner with a cross, and often gashed in the side. Situated in what was a violent area of Covent Garden, the pub's upstairs room once hosted bare-knuckle prize fights, leading to it being nicknamed "The Bucket of Blood". It is known for serving local-sourced homemade food and delicious drinks.
