Greenwich Foot Tunnel
Greenwich Foot Tunnel is one of the city’s most impressive engineering achievements – a 370 metres of tunnel under the river Thames. It only takes around 5 minutes to walk through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, but it's the experience of seeing Victorian engineering up close that makes it so special (and some people even believe it's haunted). Walking through the tunnel, the visitors end up in Island Gardens on the north of the river for the famous "Canaletto view" of Greenwich.
